Here are a few new updates on Anikoto

Hey everyone here’s what’s new on Anikoto lately:

1. Automatic AniList sync You can now sync your AniList account with Anikoto. Go to your Profile → AniList Sync, grant permission, and turn it on to keep things in sync automatically.

2. Request Anime Missing something on the site? You can request any anime here: https://anikototv.to/request-anime

3. Comment system & moderation We’ve made a lot of changes to comments. We now have mods monitoring the site if you see something wrong, report it and our team will review and take action.

4. Upcoming anime Fixed issues with how upcoming anime was shown on the site.

5. Watch links (first episode vs last) Fixed the bug where clicking an anime sometimes sent you to the last episode instead of starting from the first.

We’re Looking for Experienced Volunteer Moderators for Anikoto Comments

Hi everyone,

We are currently looking for active and experienced volunteer moderators to help manage the Anikoto comment platform.

Right now, I’m fully focused on developing and improving the website, fixing issues, and adding new features, so I don’t get enough time to properly moderate comments throughout the day.

To keep the community clean, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone, we need a few responsible and active moderators who are willing to volunteer their time and help us maintain quality discussions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Prior moderation experience (Discord, Reddit, forums, or similar platforms)
  • Ability to handle toxic or spam content fairly and consistently
  • Active availability (not just occasional checking)
  • Good judgment in conflict situations
  • Calm and professional communication

Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage user comments
  • Handle reports and remove toxic content
  • Help maintain a healthy discussion environment
  • Support basic moderation decisions (lock threads, warn users, etc.)
