⚠️ Video Server Downtime

Hello everyone,

We’re currently experiencing an unexpected issue with our video servers, which has resulted in temporary downtime. As a result, video playback may not be working or may fail to load at the moment.

Our team is already actively investigating the problem and working on restoring full service as quickly as possible. We understand how important smooth streaming is, and we’re treating this with high priority.

Site update A few things we added/fixed: Filter page

• Fixed sorting by number of episodes
• Hide titles on my list — hide anime already on your watchlist while browsing
• Episode range — filter by min/max episodes (e.g. 12–24, 100+)
• Source — filter by Manga, Light Novel, Original, Visual Novel, etc. Watch2gether
• Episode picker redesigned with search
• Fixed long series not showing all episodes when creating a room Let us know if anything feels off or if you want more filter options.

We’ve just launched a new Watch2Gether feature on AniKoto.

You can now create a room, invite friends, and watch anime together with real-time synchronized playback.

To try it out, go to the Watch2Gether section on AniKoto and either create a room or join an existing one.

The chat feature is still under development and will be added soon.

We’d love to hear your feedback feel free to share any bugs, suggestions, or improvements.

We are currently performing scheduled maintenance as we migrate all services to a new server infrastructure.

During this process, you may experience temporary downtime, slower load times, or video buffering issues. This is expected while systems are being transferred and stabilized.

We are actively working to complete the migration as quickly as possible to improve overall performance, stability, and streaming speed.

We are currently looking for active and experienced volunteer moderators to help manage the Anikoto comment platform.

Right now, I’m fully focused on developing and improving the website, fixing issues, and adding new features, so I don’t get enough time to properly moderate comments throughout the day.

To keep the community clean, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone, we need a few responsible and active moderators who are willing to volunteer their time and help us maintain quality discussions.

What we’re looking for:

• Prior moderation experience (Discord, Reddit, forums, or similar platforms)
• Ability to handle toxic or spam content fairly and consistently
• Active availability (not just occasional checking)
• Good judgment in conflict situations
• Calm and professional communication

Responsibilities:

• Review and manage user comments
• Handle reports and remove toxic content
• Help maintain a healthy discussion environment
• Support basic moderation decisions (lock threads, warn users, etc.)
