When do ABSN programs like Northeastern and UMass Boston do drug tests? I’m wondering when I should quit smoking weed

I need to apply to the Northeastern ABSN program before the end of July in order to start in January. Has anyone had experience with this particular program or just in general and know when they perform drug tests? I’ve been smoking weed for several years (a few hits of a dab pen every night) and I know it’s gonna take a hot second to get out of my system. I’m anticipating 12 weeks for it to come out as negative for THC.

I’m trying to get a sense of when I should quit, as I do use this for anxiety reasons and I’m not trying to quit any earlier than I necessarily have to. Do they test closer to the start date, like December? Or do they test shortly after acceptance which I anticipate would be September/October?

I know every program is different, but any input would be greatly appreciated since I really don’t want to mess this up but also am nervous about not having my main calming mechanism lol. Thank you:)

Should I include a 1 month position on my resume?

I (30M) graduated college last May in 2025 with a bachelors degree in Operations and Information Management. Before then I didn’t know what to do with my life and worked random sales jobs that didn’t make me happy. My goal is to be in data analysis which seems impossible with the rise of AI.

I finally got an offer after a year of searching in May of this year for a Data Entry Specialist role, but it didn’t work out. I got let go after a month, not because of job performance, but because I worked with 3 older women who didn’t give me a chance and wanted to get me fired from the start. My boss said he would still write me a letter of recommendation since my performance had nothing to do with it— it was just because these women couldn’t get along with me (for the record, I have been described as very easy going and extremely easy to get along with).

My main question is, do I include this job on my resume? Does it raise more questions if I have a one month position on my resume that is related to my field, or if I have a gap of over a year after college? I’m having no luck with other positions right now and am really lost on what to do.

(TLDR: Had a job for a month and was let go because of some coworkers that didn’t like me. Do I include this job on my resume since it was relevant to my field and I have over a year of a gap on my resume after school?)
