Worried about a possible Centrelink debt after receiving JobSeeker as a full-time student
Hi everyone,
I'm a bit worried about my JobSeeker payments and was hoping someone might have had a similar experience.
I'm a full-time master's student. I called Centrelink previously to let them know that I was studying full-time, but Iater still granted JobSeeker Payment. I've been receiving it for around six months.
During that time, I completed all of my mutual obligations (job applications, appointments, reporting, etc.) and never intentionally provided any false information.
I'm now worried that Centrelink might later decide I wasn't actually eligible and raise a debt against me.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? If Centrelink made the decision after I had already told them I was a full-time student, is it still possible that I could end up owing the money back?
Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences.
