Looking for a Step Up Ball for Medium to Heavy Oil
I currently throw a Hustle Earth, and I absolutely love it. It’s very smooth, predictable, and comfortable to throw. I’m a left-handed, two-finger, no-thumb bowler with a ball speed between 13–15 mph.
I’ve been bowling league lately, and I’ve noticed I’m leaving a lot of 7 pins. I also feel like during Game 1, when the lanes have more oil, the Hustle Earth just isn’t quite strong enough. It feels like I have to throw every shot perfectly to strike, and I don’t have much room for error.
I’m looking for a ball that’s a step up from the Hustle Earth for medium to heavier oil, but I’m worried about going too strong and losing hitting power or pin action. I still want something that drives through the pins and carries well without being overly aggressive.
Does anyone have any ball recommendations? For reference, I’m a left-handed, two-finger, no-thumb bowler throwing around 13–15 mph.
