Only forwarding system? No app used for calls ?

I have a restaurant that i am opening soon. I need a desk phone (with no app needed to be installed to make calls), just simple answer or dial to make a call.

On the other hand, i need the customers when they call, to be asked (press 1 to make a reservation/ order to be routed to the restaurant. Press 2 to speak to manager or talk about a private event (which it needs to forwarding them to my cell).

The question is, most of the Voip companies that i am looking at, either they require you to install an app to make calls, or the number that i get will not work on WhatsApp (for the manager number).

All i need a forwarding system to route the calls to 2 extensions, one of those numbers will be the main line for the restaurant, and the other for the manager

I talked to Que, Dialpad & Grasshopper, they all require to use an app to make calls.

Is even VOIP a good idea for me at this point? is there another system that works better for my needs?

In short

Ring > Press 1 for restaurant - Press 2 for manager

Restaurant does not need to have apps to make calls

Manager phone needs to have WhatsApp working on the phone

POS processing fee rate ( interchange +)

I am in the process of opening a medium restaurant / cafe. The POS I am looking at has quoted me Interchange-plus for the credit card service. So the Interchange rate* + a merchant process fee.

V/MC/D: 0.10% + $0.04 American Express: 0.10% + $0.10

This will be for in person cards or not, does not matter.

Can you guys tell me if this is a good rate?

Keep in mind we do not have history of processing rates that we have provided.

Their equipment monthly cost is around $300 (which includes lots of stuff), like payroll, gift cards, loyalty and much more.

Phone system for a restaurant recommendation

I am thinking of getting another phone line with T-mobile, and use it for a restaurant.
The reason for this is, i need an actual phone to use WhatsApp, or texting customers for many things, such as catering or such.

My question is, can i still use the T-Mobile phone number for business needs, and add the additional add-ons to it? Such as forwarding, keeping customers in the queue, and such. Do I need to attach it to another app or something?

What is the downside of this plan? I am getting a good deal rate monthly is only $25 / line Plus a free phone!

Note: my plan is a business plan not personal plan.
