I want to rent a car in Hobart and drop off in Launceston. Probably, but not necessarily, at the airport for both. Any recommendations, and any tips on who I should avoid? This will be in mid-November.
Why does the (long coastal) trolley do that thing at the Main Beach stop where they take a trolley out of service and make everybody get off and load up one that eventually pulls up behind? I get that there is a need to switch trolleys as the day goes on, but why at the Main Beach stop, which basically guarantees that the maximum number of people will be inconvenienced? Why not at the Broadway hub, where there are fewer passengers and more shaded places to wait? Or at literally any other less busy stop, like Diver’s Cove or Jasmine?
