I'm looking at planning a quick little rum adventure before meeting up with a larger group for R&R on the southeast coast of Costa Rica. Priority is rum tourism and delicious food. We are coming from the North East USA so the places coming to mind "on the way" would be Oaxaca or Jamaica. Martinique/St. Lucia are also high on my list (I pitched for that to be the original destination of the meatier part of the trip, haha).

It'll be in late January when it sounds like Barbados can be quite busy due to the regatta.

It'll be my first trip to the Caribbean in general so I'm having a hard time narrowing things down.

Screen size is the big must have, then performance, battery life and weight don't really matter as it won't be used mobile very often.

* **Info/Requirements**

Probably OLED, she's really most concerned with having a large high quality screen.

She cares most about screen size as she's aging. The only reason she wants a laptop is because they are snowbirds and she needs to move it back and forth every 6 months.

She is also potentially open to getting the "right" laptop with a smaller screen size, and supplementing with an external monitor as long as it stays in budget. Not quite as easy to transport though.

I'm fairly new to the label, only really honed in on them a couple years ago thanks to the Big Ears Festival, though I was familiar with a handful of the artists.

I'm looking to add a couple new records to my collection to go with the Spring Bundle '26 I snagged.

I've got a couple in mind, but let's hear everyone's favorite records!
