Why do they love to do this?

This needs to be called out more often. There is a certain self hating subsection within our community that is hellbent on trying to portray us in a negative light no matter what. This video came up on my fyp where an ajnabi guy was talking positively about us and that he loves our people and community because we welcomed him and helped him a lot and guess what? These self hating weirdos were quick to try to portray us negatively. This was the third most liked comment and we know who would like a comment like this. These people need to learn how to separate politics and regular citizens trying to live a normal life. They just love spew our internal business everywhere with no regard for optics. These types do not get called out enough. They're insufferable begs.

This needs to be said in regards to the on-going demonisation campaign against our community

I need people to know what's really going on behind the scenes in-terms of the sudden hate and negativity targeted towards our community and Somalia. None of this is organic, I repeat none of this is organic. This is textbook political scapegoating. Don't convince yourself that all of this targeted online negativity translates to real life. Its very obvious we're going through a very coordinated, targeted, and well funded Zionist backed right wing demonisation campaign backed by Israel and UAE which goes all the way up to the President of the United States. Most people (mostly Liberals and Leftists) are smart enough to realize that none of this is normal and organic and can see that this is hate compaign is well funded and coordinated by the Pro-Israel right wing.

For example Israel is spending a record $730 Million on propaganda this year alone, 4 times what it spent in 2025. which means they have a ton of money to spend on coordinated influence campaigns that serve their political and geopolitical interests.

A recent BBC Arabic investigation shows that UAE has been using fake bot accounts online to do online influence peddling in the Horn of Africa, more specifically targeted towards Somalia.

Why are we suddenly the #1 target for Israel and right wing parties in the West? Its connected to Israel and the UAE's interests in Somalia, more specifically the newly built Berbera military base in the North and countering Turkey's influence in Somalia. We know Israel recently recognized Somaliland and wants to control the Red Sea and Bab-Al-Mandab and they will try to get it by any means necessary even if it means demonising us and endangering our safety in the West. When Abiy Ahmed is threatening its neighbours for Sea Access, this is Israel and UAE talking, they are pushing for Ethiopia to occupy Berbera. There are reports that Israel recently deployed soldiers in Somaliland. Its all connected but unfortunately most people do not see that this coordinated hate campaign is connected to Israel's interests in the Horn of Africa.

There is also the aspect of Trump's beef with Ilhan Omar and her upcoming primary in November. She is due for 6th re-election and right wing and pro-Israel groups are hoping to finally remove her from office this time.

Be careful not to internalize this very obvious and coordinated demonisation campaign as none of this is organic and doesn't translate into real life. This is not to say that there wont be morons who will act on their hate in real life but you wont encounter this much hatred in the real world, most people see what's going on and that it isnt normal.

Ignore the very clearly botted and astrotuffed online posts that are often filled with racist nonsense. This includes Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, ect. There is no need to post that paid Zionist backed garbage here, all you're doing is pushing its reach onto its intended target which includes us.

Could Somalia See The World's Next Major Oil Discovery?

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Crude-Oil/Could-Somalia-See-The-Worlds-Next-Major-Oil-Discovery.amp.html

Somalia's hydrocarbon exports will soon become way more valuable in the eyes of the world than GCC oil and LNG because Somalia oil and LNG exports wont be heavily affected by the closures of the Strait of Hormuz and Bab-Al-Mandab choke points in the event of a war in West Asia as we're once again seeing today resulting in energy shortages and skyrocketing prices around the world. This is where Somalia's blessed location becomes a huge opportunity and a generational win if we play our cards right. Our biggest potential markets will be Asia (especially India and China), Australia, and Africa (we can easily dominate East African energy markets too). As for Europe, in the event of a closure of the Bab-Al-Mandab choke point, oil and LNG tankers can easily reroute around Africa through the Cape of Good Hope. Inshallah this new energy frontier will be the turning point for Somalia and a much better future for our people.

So much negativity

This is either part of the coordinated psyop to try to demoralize us or the subreddit has been hijacked by self hating doomers and larpers. Thread after thread baiting people to talk shit about the country, our culture, the deen, or how we should change ourselves for ajnabi acceptance and these are the only types of threads that generate the most engagement. Any positive thread either has very little engagement or is hijacked by doomers who are determined to see everything about us in a negative light. I cant be the only one who noticed this lately. It seems like the quality of the subreddit has gone downhill over the past few months.
