Possible fake StubHub Tix for Breeders at the Zoo this weekend, what should I do?
Hi, so I bought tickets from StubHub for the Breeders a couple of weeks ago. Initially, I tried to do it through the zoo's website, where it sent you to etix. For some reason, my IP address is flagged by etix, and I can't download the page. It has to do with spambots or something. After an hour and a half of trying to figure this out, I googled "Breeders tickets at the zoo," and I see that they are linked on StubHub. I've bought baseball tickets from StubHub before. The tickets there are like $40 all together, including the fees. Because I had no idea what the ticket price was (because I hadn't seen the true ticketing page on etix and they didn't list it on the zoo's website), I clicked, thinking, "Well, that's a good deal." Also, I figured it's a zoo. How much do they charge?
Anyway, I bought the tickets and then see that I'm not gonna get the tickets sent to me until 3 p.m. the day of the show, which is ridiculous. Then I talked to my friend, who was like, "Oh, do you want my Breeders tickets?" I said, "I just bought some from some StubHub, but how much are yours?"
She said that her tickets were $65 apiece with the fees, so then I'm worried that these are fake tickets because why would you buy a pair of tickets for a total of about $120 and then sell them for less than $20 apiece?
I don't know what I should do: - Do I resell these tickets? And hope they aren't fake and do actually sell?- Do I eat the $40 and buy my friend's tickets? - Do I just cross my fingers and hope, at 3 p.m., that these tickets are real? What do you guys think?
