Problems with payouts

Recently I’ve been having issues with payouts from stub/via, starting from May 8th. That was the last day I successfully received a payment. Another payout was supposed to be processed on May 9th, but for some unclear reason it was never paid, even though everything had been working fine before.

Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you manage to resolve it? Support only keeps giving promises, but nothing actually changes.

StubHub is a scam

I bought tickets that showed section and seat number. Also shown in email.
When I got the tickets they said standing room only. I said ok - let me resell them since I can’t stand for 3 hours. Listed the exact same tickets - no changes. Tickets got sold. StubHub never paid. On top of that they charged full price (for tickets I was selling) to my credit card. So at this point I’ve paid 2x the price for tickets I never used. customer service is shit. They tell me I misinformed them when I resold the tickets - BUT I SOLD THE EXACT SAME TICKETS THEY SOLD ME. Listed them in an hour of getting those. I am not an expert on venues - they are supposed to be. They are still selling similar tickets. They tell me I should’ve called them when I got the tickets. ^**##%%

I will dispute with credit card but any other ideas for tackling this BS ? Their customer service is useless - was hard to even find a number to call.

Ticket release

I got 4 tickets for the savanna bananas game June 13. It still says tickets will be available closer to the game day. I also got 4 tickets directly from the banana ball site just in case which are already available. Has anyone else got tickets for their game?

Recommended Filter is GONE

If you think you were upset when your listings were hidden by the "Recommended" filter before, wait till you notice that now the filter is gone and Non recommended tickets simply can't be seen at all by anyone. No matter what filters you set, you can only see RECOMENDED listings.

Chances I got scammed?

Hi all, this was my first time ever buying from Stubhub and I only realized afterward that I should have checked what kind of site it was. I was just overly excited to get my sister a nice experience before she has her big surgery in August. Here are the details:

Joe Hisaishi, Aug 16, Radio City Music Hall ORCH 6 - 3 tickets that I bought for around $57 each. After checking out the Ticketmaster website, it seems that similar seats are currently going for $141-$247. Was it an insane deal or just a scam?

As soon as I purchased them, I got an email saying I could grab my tickets. I transferred them into my own Ticketmaster account with no issue. Now my question is - is it possible that I was sold fraudulent tickets even though I'm looking at 3 tickets in my Ticketmaster account and Apple wallet? The Ticketmaster email had a warning before I accepted them that said "If the tickets were obtained fraudulently by the person transferring them, they may be canceled at any time, removed from your account and no longer available for use."

My bad experience with stubhub

Hi - so I bought 2 x tickets for Korn Mexico General admission, for 350 euro each in pesos. 3 hours before the show I received an email saying that the general admission tickets are not available and replacement tickets were seating, nosebleeds and with obstructed view. I didn't really know the tickets were obstructed... Only after the fact.

  1. They need to offer equivalent tickets - surely general admission and seating with obstructed view are not equivalent?

  2. Anyone had any successful disputes with them?

Can't view tickets for my own city?

I can view listings for concerts in different cities but not my own? Turned off VPN and my location is ON. Not sure why I can't view this concert listing?

PDF Tickets StubHub

I bought tickets for the TWICE concert at Uber Arena through StubHub and I’m really stressed right now. The concert is on 23.05 and the event is listed as Ticketmaster mobile-only entry, but I only received PDF tickets through instant download and never got the actual Ticketmaster transfer.
The event page says PDF or printed tickets are not valid, so I contacted StubHub support multiple times. They created a support case and said they’ll respond within 24–48 hours to either confirm the validity of my tickets or help me get the proper mobile tickets, but I still haven’t received a final answer yet.
The tickets themselves look real and have seat numbers/QR codes, but I’m worried because Uber Arena is strict about mobile-only tickets.
Does anyone have advice or experience with this situation? Did your Ticketmaster transfer arrive late, or were PDF tickets still accepted at entry?

Made a sale for the first time: Should I upload the tickets right away?

Hi, I made my first sale on StubHub today for an event in July that I can no longer attend. The platform is now asking me to upload the tickets in the buyer’s name.

I have already changed the name on the ticket to the buyer’s name to ensure they have a smooth experience. However, I wanted to ask whether I should upload the tickets to StubHub now, or wait until closer to the event date.

My main concern is avoiding any possibility of a scam or the buyer cancelling the sale after receiving the tickets. What would you suggest? Thank you.

Update: Uploaded the tickets the same day, thank you for your suggestions!

How to link my PDF stubhub ticket to my ticketmaster account ?

Hi guys, I just got tickets for BTS concert in July through Stubhub instant download a couple of days ago. I got the PDF of the tickets but i couldnt find how to get them on my Ticketmaster account.

For more details, I'm going to the Paris concert.
I just had an email giving me the link of the PDF on SH website and got the ticket (under someone else's name)
I dont know how I can get them on my ticketmaster account so if anyone here knwos how to do it or had the similiar issue that would be great to have some insights!

And i dont even know if just having the PDF is enough to enter the stadium or if having the ticket on a TM account is mandatory.

Also, if the PDF is enough, would it cause a problem that it is under someone else's name and not mine ?

Thank you very much !

Are the agents telling the truth?

I bought Ariana Grande tickets late January for a concert June 24th.
I still do not have the tickets so I have been contacting agents pretty frequently. They have said they have contacted the seller multiple times.
I just got off call with another agent and they told me my seller also bought from StubHub and is waiting to receive those tickets to then send to me. The agent put me on hold and came back saying they just talked to the ORIGINAL seller (the seller that sold the tickets to MY seller) and said that they are just waiting to send the tickets to my seller but they DO have them and sent proof of having them. The agent said both my seller and the seller to my seller are both very reputable on StubHub and have a great record with sales on StubHub.
I asked the agent multiple times to clarify that someone does have the tickets and they are not speculative. The agent assured me that there is a money back guarantee but that I will 100% not have to use that guarantee as my tickets will 100% be sent since both my sellers are communicative and reputable.
She didn't seem to take pauses for her answers or seem unsure about anything.
But what do you guys think? Do you think she's lying about my seller (and seller's seller) reputation?

Don’t buy on StubHub

I bought Kid Cudi meet and greet tickets on Stubhub and the seller sent me the ticket and I accepted it but the ticket said Big boi meet and greet. I reached out to Stubhub to let them know I got the incorrect ticket, they said not to worry and it’s the correct kid Cudi meet and greet ticket. I reached out to ticketmaster to confirm if the ticket was for Kid Cudi and they said it’s not and that the ticket is for Big Boi but that I don’t actually have access to the meet and greet. Reached back out to Stubhub and sent them screenshots confirming the ticket isn’t for Kid Cudi but the meet and greet is for Big Boi, they continued to tell me it was for Kid Cudi and not to worry. I followed back up with more information from Ticketmaster verifying that is not a Kid Cudi meet and greet ticket and now they’re saying there’s nothing they can do bc the ticket is Valid and give me access to see Big Boi. Their customer service is horrible and they will not help you even if they’re in the wrong.

Seats I purchased on Stubhub presale don't even exist.

I just wanted to share what I experienced when I purchased presale Jack White tickets via Stubhub. Maybe this will help persuade someone to buy/sell on another platform.

  1. NOTE: This was my first Stubhub experience AND I rarely purchase concert tickets. Full disclosure: I was ignorant of Stubhub's... everything. I thought I was simply going to a legit site to purchase tix and believed what I read. I hadn't seen tix for this show (Jack White - Newport, KY) on Ticketmaster and naively thought that Jack White's camp avoided them because of all their added fees, etc. Sigh... yes, I know. Ignorant. They were eventually released on AXS (also never heard of them.)

  2. I am a big fan of Jack White. When I saw tix available, I jumped on them. The site said, "Only X seats left! Selling fast!" and I had a bad case of Jack White Fever. I needed these tickets, STAT. Because EVERYONE wanted those tickets and if I didn't act NOW my concern dreams would turn to dust. Yeah.... not my proudest moment.

  3. I purchased SEATS for the concert. Saw the "all in pricing" (which it ultimately very much was not) and entered my credit card number. THEN learned that the tix didn't need to be delivered until just before the show. I kicked myself and hoped for the best.

  4. Tickets were delivered and, get this, they were for GA - STANDING ROOM ONLY. I kid you not. Seat numbers were included in the inital offering, all the communication up until the time the tickets were actually delivered. Paid almost $600 for 2 SRO tickets, 3x their face value for a not sold-out concert.

  5. Learned that "seats are not guaranteed" but c'mon. I purchased SEATS and ended up with NO SEATS. At all. Anywhere. It's one thing for them to pull their "sell great seats and delivery shitty seats" but this was "sell great seats and get SRO."

  6. As expected, Stubhub doubled down. Learned that vendor participation regarding complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General is VOLUNTARY. Neither offers consumer protection as they have no authority. Vendors know this and treat them accordingly.

  7. I did file a case with Capital One, the CC company I used to purchase the tickets. Capital One RULED IN MY FAVOR. Stubhub's fraud was so blatent that a credit card company actually credited my account.

What I learned? Lots. Don't do business with Stubhub. If you are happy with them, you do you. I wish you the best, but I don't recommend them.

If you choose Stubhub, document EVERYTHING. Take screen shots of everything. Before Stubhub removes or edits the listing, confirmation, receipts, whatever.

If you have issue, yes, take it up with Stubhub and document. Your cc company will ask if you tried to resolve yourself. As will BBB or they Attorney General, but don't waste your time.

Hope this helps someone. Learn from my mistake.

Stubhub is refusing to help me

Hi there. So I will start off by saying I understand I made a mistake, but Stubhub completely dropped the ball and is now refusing to help me.

I sold my first ever tickets on Stubhub last July (I sold them for cheaper than I got them, I don't know why I feel compelled to say that). Since it was my first time selling, I had to input all of my bank information. I have big thumbs and stupid long nails so I didn't realize I'd typed my bank information in wrong - by one number. The last number of my bank account was one number off.

So the show comes and goes and I never got paid. I reached out in early August about my payment, and was told the payment was deposited on August 2nd. This is when I realized the typo and the error. Immediately I start panicking and worrying I'll never get this money back. The Stubhub customer service representative reassures me it happens "all the time", it's "an easy problem to solve", and "I'll get my money asap."

I had to provide bank statements showing my correct bank account and to prove I didn't get paid - I sent them the info, no problem. They said it would take about 30 business days to handle, which made sense since it is a big problem and I understand it'll require sometime.

Well 30 days turns into 90, and I never heard back. I kept following up, calling and chatting with an agent in their 24/7 chat, but I kept hearing "we've re-escalated the issue, give us 3/5/14 business days." Well December comes and goes, still nothing. I've had tons of family stuff going on so kind of forgot about it, but was actively checking my email - still nothing.

Until yesterday. I reached back out and told them they still never resolved this issue and I never heard back. I talked to 3 different people, one who was unhelpful, the other said they had no clue what I was talking about, and the third who said they'll "re-escalate the issue."

Today I called back - apparently in January they "closed the investigation" and decided I needed to talk to my bank. After all this time, that's the conclusion? And also - they never sent me any notice of a closure of the investigation or anything.

SOOO I call my bank - because Stubhub waited so long to resolve this and give me the payment ID number for the transaction, my bank now can't do anything.

SOOOO I CALL STUBHUB BACK, have to explain the situation to 3 different people, only for the last person to cut me off and say "I don't know why anyone else would tell you we'll handle it when this was always a problem for your bank. We won't be distributing anymore funds."

Because of one small mistake I made, that I called out almost a year ago, that Stubhub swore they'd handle and fix, I lost out on money for these tickets.

Like I said, I know it's my fault. A lesson learned. But for Stubhub to completely run me around like this and then ultimately not help and tell me "sorry, you're SOL" really makes me never want to use this platform again.

Pricing for Canadian shows

Does anyone know if the app for Canadian shows is American or Canadian pricing?

I randomly looked at the website (making sure it was .ca) vs the app. My friend thought it was Canadian, but it's also showing me different results. So I don't know?

Transferred tickets went through then buyer claimed they didn't

Listed six tickets two ofI listed six tickets on StubHub, and two of them sold almost immediately. I transferred the tickets through StubHub to the buyer, and the transfer was accepted. A few days before the concert, the buyer suddenly claimed they never received them and provided a different email address.

I contacted StubHub support through online chat, uploaded proof of the completed transfer, and was assured everything was fine. Then I received yet another email with a completely different email address claiming the tickets had never been transferred. Once again, I provided proof showing the transfer had gone through, and once again I was told I was “good to go.”

Despite that, StubHub never updated the status of the sale. Today, they canceled the transaction entirely and claimed I failed to fulfill the order.

Now I’m stuck in a dispute process that supposedly takes 30–45 days. What I can’t understand is how the company can verify that the transfer was completed, repeatedly assure me there was no issue, and then turn around and cancel the sale anyway.

To make matters worse, the other four tickets never sold, so we ended up going to the concert ourselves — and had to sit right next to the people who bought the damn tickets.

I finally got scammed on stubhub, but got my money back

After years of buying and selling on stubhub successfully, I finally got scammed. It was at a small local venue for a 40 dollar ticket. It was kind of weird from the start, first it said it was a ticketmaster, then they changed it and sent me a pdf ticket, then that ticket got cancelled and they sent me another pdf ticket one hour before show time. When I got there it neither ticket they had sent me would scan and the venue told me that had other fake tickets that night with the same name on it, and pointed out it didn't even have the correct date on it. The show had just started so I bought a ticket and went it, but spent 5 minutes to contact stubhub immediately using that chat and told them it was a fake ticket and had the wrong dates, and told them I wanted to be refunded. They responded in chat, thanks for reaching out to us, we will need to ask you a few questions. I have no idea what additional info they would need that I hadn't already provided, but I periodically checked the chat and they never asked any more questions. I had my phone on silent during the show. I noticed after the show I had missed two phone calls from them. Almost 4 hours later they sent me a replacement ticket. I didn't even look at it because the show was already over, and the scammer had already sent 2 fake tickets so not sure why they would now send me an actual ticket. I contacted them and told them I wanted to be refunded because the ticket they sent me was well after the show. They said they would escalate it, some people in the sub have said not to believe them if they don't put this in writing but I forgot to ask. 4 days later I got my money back. Thats my story!

Are my tickets legit?

Hello all! I have purchased for the first time on stubhub and honestly I probably should’ve listened to my gut and bought else where. I received my tickets for a BTS concert however I received them through a link and am unable to add to my wallet. Are these real tickets? They’re also VIP tickets which surprised me as I thought they were just floor so now i’m nervous if they’ll even be accepted. Please any help is appreciated!!

Did anyone actually receive tickets AFTER asking support to remind the seller multiple times?

So I bought world cup tickets from Stubhub months ago and the seller still hasn't transferred them to me. I have asked support to remind them multiple times but there is no answer.

At this point I don't even wanted the tickets anymore, I just want to get a refund. Apparently I can't even ask for an alternative until an hour before the game, so getting the ticket an hour before the game is the worst scenario in my mind because I can't even resell it at that point.

So at this point, after not transferring the tickets despite having months to do it, it's pretty safe to say that the seller is ghosting, right? Or do these scummy people actually wait until the last minute to transfer?

Having Trouble Signing up for FIFA Resale Platform with StubHub Dummy Email

I purchased FIFA World Cup Tickets through Stubhub. I get an email from StubHub yesterday to accept my tickets by signing up for FIFA Resale Marketplace with dummy email to accept my tickets.

When I try doing that on the Resale Website, I get met with lag and delays that is stopping me from proceeding through the website, with me using the dummy email to attempt account creation. I can't get through the first step no matter how many times I reattempt to sign up with the dummy email StubHub gave me.

Is this an issue on the FIFA Resale Marketplace, or is there something I'm missing?
