What an absolute nightmare. I didn't check if my Tyler Childers tickers were transferable before I sold them, but there was no way I could get to the show. My stupid brain thought, "Well, Stub Hub is THE platform for reselling tickets," not realizing that you can now only sell the tickets for some shows via Ticketmaster. I posted them at face value.

I had to call customer service several times (888-404-2183, the number on the site isn't correct), and every time the agents were actually really helpful. I was able to send the buyer a temporary login to my Ticketmaster account (DELETE YOUR SAVED PAYMENT INFO IF YOU DO THIS), and there was a login to my account from elsewhere in the country, and the tickets were marked as scanned. I also asked for an email from an agent confirming that I had taken all of these steps to transfer the tickets. Boom. Problem solved. Right?

Wrong! I continued to get automated nastygrams from StubHub stating that the sale was canceled and woke up to an email saying they charged me $189 for an unfulfilled order. WHAT THE FUCK. I submitted a dispute, then called again, THEN was told that the dispute process takes 30-45 days. I asked to speak to the manager (Karen energy, I know, I know), and was told that they would tell me the same thing.

Sooooo in short, fuck Stub Hub, do your research, and don't panic sell tickets when you realize you can't make a show.

I bought tickets for the whitesox ALDS game on SH before they’d got out of the wildcard series. I paid $600 for 4 tickets and got confirmations and was assured the tickets were on the way and would be to me by game day.

Then Friday, after the market value skyrocketed because the game became real, they told me there was an issue delivering the tickets and all I get is a refund. There are tickets available but they’re $2000 for 4 in a similar section.

I have invited clients. I have no choice but to replace the tickets at the crazy high new price.

I’m livid. I’m definitely going to sue (my wife is a lawyer and I have a lot of time to throw at this. I’m fired up and need a new hobby anyway)

My question is how is a business this shady still alive?

Has anyone else sued? I’ve read on here of a few success stories through small claims, but I’m curious how many others are out here.

I thought Oh I have stub hub benefits let me use that credit to go see a band play tomorrow night. I bought decent tickets 150 a person. I noticed stub hubs prices were 70 more than ticketmaster. BUT bc of the sapphire promo with stubhub decided that it was still worth it. I recieved an email this morning that I was upgraded- only to go look at the seats and see they are worse than what I paid for and half the price! lol.... does anyone know if I have recourse?

So a couple of days ago I bought Celine Dion tickets in France for this Wednesday on StubHub.

To claim the tickets, I had to download the ticket master fan wallet app. I was not asked to sign in, it just automatically transferred the tickets to the app and I didn’t have an option to download the tickets anywhere else on my phone. I couldn’t even find these tickets on my Ticketmaster account.

Today when I checked the fan wallet app, the tickets had just disappeared randomly. I deleted then redownloaded the app, still gone. When I tried reclaiming the tickets through the StubHub link, it says that the link was no longer valid. I called StubHub explaining this situation and they said they are going to ask the seller to send another link.

Anybody know how they disappeared? Is this new link gonna work since I already accepted them originally? What steps should I follow now?

Really worried about this as these tickets were really expensive and they are supposed to be a surprise present for my mom. Any help at all would be appreciated
