LOGISTICS & TIMELINE

I came across a positive review for rep perfume from Cao. He was a NEW seller to me, and instead of buying perfume, I somehow decided that review was enough evidence for me to risk buying clothes from him.

WHAT A WIN.

I reached out to Cao on 8/16. He sent me his album within minutes, and we immediately started going back and forth on different items.

8/17: I was interested in purchasing jeans, but Cao very honestly told me they were going to be too small and that I should NOT waste my money on something that wasn’t going to fit. Apparently I am too big/fat for Chinese rep jeans, and Cao wasn’t going to let me pay money to confirm it. He did the same today 9/24 with a skirt I wanted. His prices were about $60 less than other sellers I priced. But he advised me to spend money on better item.

8/19: I sent my final list of items.

8/20: Cao informed me that one of the shirts I wanted was unavailable and sent me other options.
THIS impressed me more than it probably should have because I HAD NOT PAID YET.

In my experience, 99.9% of the time you pay and THEN find out that something you ordered isn’t available.

Cao checked availability first and told me before taking my money. I absolutely LOVED this.

His prices were another pleasant surprise. The shirts were approximately $45 to $55 each, which so far has been lower than what I’ve paid with other sellers for similar items.

I will forever be sure to check with Cao first before asking another seller.

I received my first order from Annie after seeing her mentioned and reviewed quite a bit. Full disclosure, my first attempt at ordering was entirely a me problem. Apparently I could not figure out how to read or use basic comprehension skills , got confused, and went MIA. About a month later, I came back with my tail between my legs and successfully managed to place an order.

After I paid, Annie let me know that two of the items I originally wanted were no longer available. She offered me a higher tier/version, but I decided to pass. I was able to use the credit toward a beautiful Zim dress instead, which ended up being one of my favorite purchases. Annie provided the sizing guide and the dress fit perfectly.

I ended up rehoming the Pr@d* pants and Ch@n blouse because they just did not work for me personally. Since Annie is pretty well known, I had no trouble rehoming them quickly.

The rest were keepers. I LOVED the Zim dress. The sizing information Annie gave me was spot on, and the fit was perfect.

The C3lin* linen blouse also deserves its own mention because it is GORGEOUS. I get compliments on it everywhere I wear it. For $65, that one was a major win.

I also tried, unsuccessfully 😭, to buy shoes from Annie. I need a larger size, around a 43/27.5 cm insole, and unfortunately the pairs I wanted were not available in my size. So no shoe review from me this time, but definitely not for lack of trying!

As far as the timeline, I placed this order around late July/early August. On 8/6, I reached out because I had received a few other orders that I placed later and was starting to wonder where this one was. Annie sent me my tracking number on 8/7 and, naturally, the package showed up that same day.

Overall, I found Annie easy to work with and communicative. There was a little back and forth because some of my original choices were unavailable, but she gave me options and made it easy to use the credit toward something else I wanted.

I would absolutely order from Annie again and am already planning to go back for another dress...or two. The Zim may have created a problem for me.

I am new to Poshmark just found it two weeks ago and went crazy shopping. I love shopping.

I decided to rehome some of my clothes I don’t wear anymore. I’ve been reusing bags I got from the items I purchased but ran out. I saw that via Poshmark you can order bags- I received these brown ones. I have never seen them before. Are these okay to use or should I just buy white ones from Amazon etc ? Thank you guys.

I’m new to this hair care routine my hair seems to have 3 different patterns. Some curly some wavy some straight. I have fine hair. It gets weighed down easily by shampoos and hair products. Unfortunately my scalp/skin is very reactive and sensitive.

Today I used a hard water shampoo for the first time and it feels soft. I only have a Moroccan oil leave in conditioner at the end, which seems to be a little heavy for my hair. My hair does respond well to living proof, smooth styling cream though and Moroccan oil if I don’t apply heat, it gets very frizzy. Any help is appreciated.

Had a custom made cabinet. However the walls aren’t flush and we have a gap running along the top sides. They left and came back the following day with a solution to add 3 boarders.

The cabinet is amazing. The work spectacular however the new fix doesn’t go with the original cabinet imo. It makes it look unfinished.

Any suggestions or ideas to close the gap. I did remove their fix bc it was ugly.

Our community Nextdoor always delivers. Neighbor asking for a cellphone after her home burned down and she did not have home insurance ( she inherited the home and didn’t think to need insurance so she cancelled it). She’s asking for a cell phone, was offered one but declined bc it wasn’t an iPhone.

The convo goes on, someone asks if she has a go fund me. She says no, she doesn’t even know what that is and would love one. However, another neighbor goes through her account, comes with receipts about her having a go fund me, promoting it several times, getting some money from it as well. Of course she doesn’t respond anymore.

I suck at makeup.

I’m going to my husband’s HS reunion. I am going to be the oddball out.

1st photo no makeup. Bare face

This is typically me 99% of the time. sunblock.

2nd photo I used half my face to try out diff concealer around my nose, chin and eyes and Chanel’s fresh water tint ( only on my right side of the face since I was trying it out for the first time) I curled my eyelashes, no mascara, but I did try and put on brown eyeliner under the water line ( I suck at it ). Both cheeks have bronzer.

Lips - lip balm. I don’t do well with lipstick. Due to chemo meds my lips have a weird brown line around them. Like those over lined lips :(

My eyebrows I just combed them. They are natural and oddly shaped. one is rounder than the other one. ‘90-00swere brutal and I had very thin brows. Now they are patchy.

I was thinking of plucking the odd hairs to make them look cleaner.

Please help me. Sorry about the resting bitch face. I have chronic pain and it’s been a bad day pain wise. Took both photos outside in my car since it’s brighter than my house.
