Anyone have stuffy ear from tmj/tight jaw muscles that also make you anxious?

My left ear has been closed for 2 years now and it makes me feel like everything is off and I’m anxious sometimes. I feel like my mental health has plummeted since my ear and jaw problems. Ya know when one ear is closed you feel off :/ Yaa lmk so tired of this

Struggling with heart health OCD

Hey, I’m a 25F. I know many of us struggle with health anxiety. I definitely do. Lately my health anxiety related to my heart health has been flaring up a lot…

I’ve always had anxiety my whole life and I can get through anything but what really triggers me, and will set me off is my breathing!

I did a workout class the other day and sometimes after I feel like I’m just so breathless and feel fatigued.

This happens sometimes after workouts only on occasion, but it happened for the first time in a while I would say about two weeks ago and ever since then I have been really noticing my breathing and I just feel like it’s getting worse. Also, most of my life I’ve had a pretty fast heart rate… I went to a gastroenterologist the other day and the doctors assistant was listening to my heart and she was “OH WOWWW YOU HAVE A FASTTT HEART RATE, HAVE YOU BEEN TO A CARDIOLOGIST TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OKAY?” And honestly that really make me spiral, it was my first time going to the doctor so they obviously don’t have a track record of seeing how I naturally have a fast heart rate… also keep in mind when I went into the appointment. I just left the gym was dehydrated and haven’t eaten anything for the day.

I also did a ct scan of my heart in may of 2025 and it was fine. (I did the ct scan bc I was having episodes of shortness of breath). I also had an EKG done in march of 2025 bc I had pneumonia and everything was fine.

I understand with anxiety it can really mimic symptoms of whatever you are thinking. But ugh that last 2 week shave been rough.

Sometimes I get out of breath, just talking, when I’m doing a Pilates class, sculpt class, or yoga class obviously my heart rate gets up and my breathing gets a little bit more difficult but idk. You know how when you try to get to the top of your breath and you take a really big inhale… I feel like I keep doing that.

I really hate how anxiety can do this, but I also don’t want to just kill my life continuing to say it’s anxiety and what if it’s something else… That’s probably the OCD in me though. Also for a solid six months, my OD was extremely intense, and my heart rate was super fast, going to bed and up upon waking up and through throughout the day, so I’m wondering if that was taxing my heart.

Ughh anyone relate / having any advice?

2am non stop thoughts

It’s 2am, usually I don’t get night anxiety, but for some reason, my OCD is just firing rn. So many intrusive thoughts :( It is sooo tiring feeling like you’re not in control. I’m very anxious and sensitive to caffeine… I did have a McDonald’s Diet Coke, which has around 50 mg of caffeine and I’m about to enter my luteal phase so I’m sure that’s contributing to it and my hormones are just dropping or something like that. Ugh feel free to comment 💕
