I’m on the hunt for something but not sure if it exists.

I’m looking for candles that burn in color. Think the kind you put on birthday cakes it’s red: the flame is also red.

I want the colored flame but I want the wax to be a neutral color. I don’t want the color of the candle to give away what the flame color will be.

Anyone have any idea where I might find something like that, I’ve tried googling it. I’m looking specifically for birthday candle sized.

Curiosities & Fortunes

I’ve been experimenting with a new embroidery/fiber art idea and wanted to see what people think.

They’re small handmade fortune cookie “oddities” mounted in embroidery hoops with vintage circus-inspired striped fabric. Each one includes a fortune that can be removed from the cookie and displayed on the piece.

The fortunes are intentionally a little strange:

I’m aiming for something that feels like it belongs in an old cabinet of curiosities or a forgotten carnival fortune teller’s collection.

Would this be something you’d hang on your wall, or am I completely off the rails here?
