I will have gastric bypass soon I just want to know how hard is it to transition from eating whatever u want to eating very small portions post op. They also said I cant eat anymore fatty food cant drink alcohol and fruit juices. I want to follow the diet strictly but im worried about how hard it will be for me. I always have cravings specially when I am sad.

I finally decided to get gastric bypass surgery. I am scared I have never had major surgeries before. Will it hurt very much?
