Just asking for a project I am developing, what are some of your biggest issues when buying secondhand items from thrifting or online marketplaces, etc.
an example for me personally is not really getting the best value for money, especially in motor vehicles or electronic products. Most of the time when I find something I think is good, I get it, and always just end up overpaying and having to resell for a cheaper price.
So I’m asking this to understand more, what is your issue you face when buying secondhand items

Hello, I am a solo developer that has created an app called BARGAINZ, a secondhand online and in person market scanner that ensures you are finding the best deal on any product.
The idea came from when I bought something off marketplace. I am an avid user and always love a good deal for reselling or personal use. The product I bought was a moped and from what I knew, 1000$ for the moped I bought seemed like a good deal. I ended up getting half scammed and lost 500$ when selling it again weeks later.
After having this happen I realised this all could have been prevented from just asking more questions and looking at more details when looking at the moped in person.
So after realising this I had heard of other people having similar issues, and the prominence of people getting scammed on the secondhand market, so the idea of BARGAINZ came along.
The app works through taking photos or screenshots of the product in person, or the public listing on Facebook, eBay, etc. the app then uses ai to scan and give a full verdict that tells you everything you need to know, ask and see when buying a product. There are other various tools that help resellers and general users to make sure you are getting the product at the best price.
We are currently in the upload phase for Apple and android, the app is available on the web at: bargainz.deals. I have already used this app multiple times in person and have only seen good from this, but I need more people and opinions.

I will need 14 people minimum for android. The first 20 people for android I will give a free subscription for 2 weeks and anyone else interested contact me.
