I have been using AltStore since last month, but everyone on these subreddits seems to be advising SideStore instead.

What are the main pros and cons of both? Should I really switch to SideStore?

When I installed DolphiniOS through the repo inside AltStore, it worked like a charm. JIT was associated easily and all the games ran smoothly.

When I tried putting DolphiniOS inside LiveContainer:

1. the ROMs couldn't be imported anymore from the main screen
2. the app couldn't use JIT anymore

Here's how I solved these issues:

1. Copy the ROMs in DolphiniOS "Software" folder.
   • go to Files>LiveContainer>Data>Application>[look for the ID of DolphiniOS]>Documents>Software → copy the ROMs here
2. Associate the UTM-Dolphin.js script (from StikDebug) to DolphiniOS
   • open LiveContainer, long press DolphiniOS, go to settings, check Launch with JIT and associate the script
3. on LiveContainer settings, set StikDebug as the main JIT Enabler

After beginning my emulation journey with Delta, I’ve switched to RetroArch and used it ever since. Lately though, I’ve seen more and more posts about Manic, how good it is and how well it works. After installing it, I have some questions though:

• does it require setup like RA does, or is it more “plug-and-play” like Delta?
• can I import my ROMs/save states that I had on RA?
• eventually, should I choose Manic over any other emulator?

I think I need some kind of guide, just to start using it. Thanks in advance!
