Have ticks been bad for anyone else with this crazy wind? I know that we’ve already been having a lot of them this year in Edmond and OKC, but with this wind the past few days it seems that every time I go outside, either one of my family members or I get a tick. Has anyone else had this issue? And how can I prevent this?

I found one on my stomach around 45 minutes ago and pulled it off, and I don't think that it could have been on me for more than 1-4 hours. My anxiety around bugs and ticks is really high, so I'm just freaking out a little.
