It’s been the same temp here in MI the past few days as TX. Rode this morning and the air was crazy thick after an overnight rain. Heck of a workout on the SS!

Having a blast on my Krampus setup with my squish, but I’m going to go back to rigid. While I do love the pike, it’s a bit overkill for my local trails in MI. I miss the technical line decisions required of a rigid. Pike just blows thru everything on my trails. I did switch down to 2.8 but think I prefer 3.0 rigid. What’s the consensus… is krampus best left 3.0 rigid or do you all prefer the squish with a smaller tire?

I’m looking to build up a ogre and am a bit confused with the gnot boost spacing and qr axles on the ogre. I have a DT Swiss 350 12 x 100mm, thru-axle front and DT Swiss 350 12 x 142mm, thru-axle rear wheelset on hand that I’d like to use. Will this work? Or do I need dt swiss adapters? Or should I plan on a new wheelset, and if so what spacing?

I recently converted my Wednesday from “race gravel bike” to a cargo bike where I can carry my two kids and their gear. So far it’s been a blast and both kids love it. Love how versatile a Surly bike is.
