Asking for opinions on anyone that has lost a pup and then got a new in under a month
I recently lost an amazing dog.
I think I made an emotional grief ridden decision and put a deposit on a new pup for pickup in a few weeks.
My old girl was sick for a while and I knew the inevitable was coming so I have been semi grieving for a while but I wanted anyones previous experience with getting a new pup relatively quickly. Any bonding or other issues?
initially I just wanted an exact replacement but I now realise she will be different with her own personality and quirks.
any help is much appreciated
