How long does it take to receive a replacement Green Card after filing Form I-90?

My friend’s 10-year Green Card expired, so they filed Form I-90 to renew/replace it. For those who have gone through this recently, how long did it take for you to receive the new Green Card?
Also, how long did it take to get the receipt notice and extension letter after filing?

Multiple Silent Updates on N-400 While Waiting for Oath Ceremony?

I got three silent updates on my N-400 application: June 16, June 24, and June 26.
I had my interview in May 2024, and afterward I received an RFE, which I responded to. Since then, I haven’t received any additional notices and have just been waiting for the oath ceremony.

I am from the 39 countries.

Do these recent silent updates usually mean something positive, or are they just routine internal activity? Has anyone experienced something similar before getting scheduled for the oath ceremony?

USCIS responded to another client’s inquiry same day but not mine — is this normal?

My lawyer submitted a premium processing inquiry for my I-140 case, but USCIS hasn’t responded to my inquiry while responding to another inquiry my lawyer submitted for another client on the same day.

Why?? What does that mean?

You are expected to receive response/decision anytime now.

Hello everyone,

I called the USCIS Premium Processing Unit on Tuesday, and they told me my case is currently on hold for extended review.

Today, I contacted an Emma live agent, and they said my case was last reviewed on Tuesday and that I should expect a response/decision from USCIS at any time now.

My question is: does the “last reviewed” date mean that an immigration officer actually reviewed my case, or could it simply mean that a USCIS agent checked my file because I called the Premium Processing Unit?

Has anyone had a similar experience? Did your case get a decision shortly after receiving a message like this?

I-140 on hold for extended review

My I-140 has been pending since March 2026 under premium processing. I’m from one of the so-called “39 banned countries.”

I called the USCIS Premium Processing Unit today, and they told me my case is currently “on hold for extended processing.” When I asked whether this is related to the 39-country pause, they said they can’t provide any additional information.

Has anyone experienced something similar? What does “on hold for extended processing” usually mean in this context?

Hi everyone,
Quick question—are marriage-based I-485 (Adjustment of Status) cases still on hold for certain nationalities (like Iranians)?
I have heard the entire pause for 130 has been lifted? Meaning the later forms can also be processed.
Is that true?
Can you still file normally after I-130?
Is the work permit (I-765) affected?
Any recent experiences or updates would really help. Thanks!
