Appetite still high and gaining weight

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all kicking goals on this diet.

I (41M) am about to complete week 8. I've been a good boy - beef, lamb, butter, bacon and eggs. Plenty of fat, too. Only vices have been tea and black coffee.

I hear people mention how they are losing lots of weight in a short amount of time. Weight loss was never my goal (mental health, lethargy etc) as I was lean when I began this way of eating.

I've put on about 5kg/10lbs since I started. It's no big deal because I can lose it later but how long will it be before I'm not consistently feeling the need to eat 3, calorie heavy meals a day? Isn't this diet supposed to be satiating? When does that happen?

I may need more time to adapt but if things continue as they are, I'll put more weight on which is something I'd rather not do. Would love to get to a point where I can wake up in the morning not feeling hungry or have a light brekky and then nothing until dinner time. Anyway, I'm off to the kitchen for more bacon and eggs.

Appreciate your help!

Hey everyone. I've been told by many that I have a talent for public speaking.

I'm not so keen on rehearsed speeches that involve remembering specific points (although it's something I could work on) but off the cuff stuff could be my thing.

For those that have jobs that involve public speaking, what exactly do you do?

Thanks very much in advance!
