I built a free brass mouthpiece spec database — looking for player corrections/ratings
Hi all,
I’ve been building BrassFit Mouthpieces, a free brass mouthpiece database with rim/cup/throat specs, brand catalogs, and player feel ratings.
The database now has 2,600+ mouthpieces across trumpet, trombone, horn, euphonium, tuba, cornet, and flugelhorn.
I’m not asking for vague “site feedback.” I’d love one very specific thing:
Search the mouthpiece you actually play
If it’s there, add a quick feel rating
If it’s missing, submit the model so I can add it
The goal is to make something useful when players are comparing specs but also want real-world feel: resistance, brightness, rim comfort, articulation, endurance, etc.
