Should I Quit
Should I quit my job at Miniso? I’ve worked with them for about 5 months and every week ny hours are being cut more and more. We were told to expect these hours through the summer. Two three hour shifts a week and they expect me to push shipment as much as I did during 4.5 hr shifts, with only me and a manager/shift lead closing so Im doing all the closing tasks on my own which gives me even LESS time to push out product. I really do enjoy the job (mostly the discount) and i get along with my managers and coworkers, but I don’t see the point in working there for these shitty hours I get.
EDIT: Thank you all for the responses. I have decided to leave the job due to a continuation of poor hours and lack of organization. My next question is would it be okay to resign through text? I don’t enjoy confrontation and I know that if I speak to the manager it would come with questions about why I’m leaving. I also would not like to resign in person since we don’t have an office or anything so it’d be infront of other coworkers. Text is our primary form of communication, I don’t have his email addres. I ask if it’s okay because I’ve seen many post advising NOT to do this, and I would like to keep them as a reference, but I’d like input from someone who has worked for the company.
