Hello! Can I play here too?

I just picked up a '27 Countryman SE and I could not be happier! I almost chose a used Cooper SE but I need a little more range for my commute (❤️ everyone who can use one though)

The aesthetic in the driver's seat feels like I'm inside a huge bluetooth speaker 📻. I especially love the go-kart mode and silly skidpad measurements.

First impressions: I wish it had tactile climate controls, but it was hardly a deal-breaker. It definitely feels bigger and has more body roll than my daughters '23 Cooper S, but the AWD electric acceleration is *wild*

Steering the narrative

My mother in law is my last surviving parent. I’m a bit worried about coming out to her since she’s conservative. My wife and I discussed my weather -appropriate attire when MiL was coming to our house recently. “What if she asks why you’re wearing a bra?”

My immediate response was to be defensive “mind your business” but I thought about it. A better response is “because I have boobs now, it’s a side effect of a medical treatment and a bra feels comfortable”

Just straight forward sentences without any metaphor or holding back.
