I like the look of the Ashland Bugs Moran Vertical in natural shell. I also wouldn't mind one of their limited runs of the same wallet pattern. I started my search looking for something hand stitched by a leather crafter but in the end I just want that specific wallet.

Is the fact they aren't hand stitched and "mass produced-ish" worth avoiding if the design is what I want? They have a lifetime warranty so craftsmanship shouldn't be a problem.

Is a commission worth the possible extra cost, lack of warranty if they don't stick to the craft?

I want to get essentially an Ashland Bugs Moran vertical but made by an individual. I'm interested in natural shell cordovan but am still kinda open between shell and a natural buttero. I want to start light and let it darken in my pocket. Hand stitched, polished and smooth even edges something that will hopefully last a lifetime.
