Short cozy mysteries I can binge read this weekend.

I’m looking for short cozy mysteries—possibly novellas—that I can read over the weekend. Now, here’s where I get picky: they need to be available on Kindle Unlimited, and I’d really love it if they also had an audiobook version so I can listen while I’m on the road. I’d like something with a series I can binge if I get hooked, and I’d kind of like to avoid magic, witches, or other paranormal themes. And I’d love to give some newly published authors a chance! Please help with suggestions. Thanks!

Spectrum Mail Bombing My 83-year Old Mother. Make it stop!

My 83-year-old mother cancelled her Spectrum internet service in early April (well, technically I cancelled it for her after spending 30 minutes on the phone explaining over and over again that she was moving into a nursing home).

Since then, Spectrum has absolutely flooded her with junk mail offering “special deals” to sign up. Two pieces came just today. Some are for residential service, some are for business accounts. Every single one looks urgent and important to her.

The problem is that my mother is showing signs of dementia, which is one of the reasons she’s now in a nursing home. These mailers are causing her a huge amount of confusion and anxiety. I get calls almost daily asking if she should “switch providers” or if she’s “paying too much for cable.” The nurses at the nursing home even told me she constantly worries about it and keeps asking who the provider is there.
The nursing home staff has thankfully started intercepting the mail while I work on changing addresses, but I’ve started saving every single Spectrum mailer because this has gotten ridiculous.

Does anyone know:
- A way to stop Spectrum marketing mailings permanently?
- An address or department to contact for removal from all marketing lists?
- Whether Spectrum has an opt-out process specifically for elderly or cognitively impaired former customers?

At this point I’m about ready to start mailing every advertisement back to them one piece at a time like they’re doing to her.

Any advice would be appreciated.
