What makes the main riff of “Battery” sound so aggressive and propulsive? Is it mostly the picking technique and tempo, or is there something about the rhythm, accents, note choices, or the way the guitars and drums interact that gives it that constant forward momentum?

I am open to hearing anyone’s experience with having to deal with tension or conflict with religious family or friends, especially being ostracized from family who are hyper-religious/religious nuts. What helped you deal with it? What did you decide was best for you when dealing with hyper-religious family?
