Dogfight Servers

I’m just really sad that nobody is ever playing the various dogfight servers (Berloga, Growling Sidewinder, etc). I don’t have consistent amounts of time to play Combat Box, and that’s the only server people play :(

This game is so good but the multiplayer is absolutely dead. I know, patience…

AI Bailing Out Immediately

Anyone else wish AI planes would try to crash land/keep flying the plane for a couple minutes instead of just bailing out the second you shoot them?

It feels so un-dynamic for a game with such dynamic behavior everywhere else. I shoot their wing tip and they poop their pants and jump out. Imagine those war stories where a fighter pilot has mercy on a bomber crew after shooting one of their engines out.

I’m talking about Korea although this behavior was present before, yes.

AI Damage Models in Korea

Does anybody know if the AI ground units have physically based damage models with component/module damage? Or do they mostly use health pools with one singular hitbox? For example, does it matter if you shoot a train engine in its steam boiler vs hitting its wheels?

I also wonder this for ships. I know visually the damage is detailed, but I care more about how it’s calculated.
