I saw someone mentioning ds2 pvp in a different sub, and it reminded me I had this old video to share! Enjoy the memories 😀

I've heard this for years but I've never changed how I played because of it. My ff8 playthroughs almost always involve getting ahold of the ship then landing on Island Closest to Hell to spam Degenerator on Malboros til I hit max level. And I've never had difficulty beating the game. Do you guys have any bad experiences with the monsters power scaling? Which bosses scale the hardest and give a harder time due to being maxed out? Curiosity hit me this morning.

Edit: apparently also draws change as you level!? What other things are there, this mechanics is new to me.

I've seen a few people asking if pvp is active on this game, so I threw a quick video together to show some pvp I've been experiencing this week just to show its alive and well!

Finally decided to play through this masterpiece again after many years. Already have the Plat, but I'm still doing a 100% run following a guide because the game is enjoyable (and I don't remember everything lmao). Been chopping through the game with no issue. Just hit Byrgenworth.

The sad part now. Coop is dead. There's nobody around anymore. My notes are being upvoted so unless that's just automated there are people around still. However I have walked through every area of the game ringing my Small Resonant Bell, and have never been summoned. Network is set on Worldwide and I have no password set. I joined the League and equipped the Impurity rune. Still never got summoned. I bought the Short Ritual Root Chalice and have sat in matchmaking on there for 10+ minutes at a time, three different times. Not a single summon.

I used to love helping fellow hunters slay bosses. It seems that time is long past though.

Is there some secret area that is better for summons? Or is it just too late in the game for activity anymore.

I have also tried my Sinister Resonant Bell for some pvp and never gotten a fight. I used to sit for hours doing pvp, not anymore.
