put in my notice to leave the shithole the other day (thank god) but i’m wondering what happens to the discount card. does it downgrade to a normal clubcard or does it become completely useless and i have to get a new one?
I’ve just accepted my first HGV job but the company doesn’t provide sat navs, not that it’s much of an issue as i planned on buying my own anyway, but there’s many to choose from. can anyone recommend good brands and models pls?

passed around 3 months ago, trying to find any tramping work, preferably for a decent company but having to start to lower my standards to the shittier companies. regardless, most of my applications or inquiries are getting ignored, and the best offer i’ve received so far is yard work which will lead into driving, but i don’t know when.
what’s the point in boasting about a driver shortage yet hardly anyone is taking on new passes? i’m also aiming to land anywhere with a company that still use mirrors and not these headache inducing cameras. i never want to drive without physical mirrors which have no depth perception on the fucking screens. if i wanted to drive a truck whilst staring at screens id go and play truck simulator.
it’s pissing me off. most job adverts say they want at least. years experience, and those who don’t say the want experience won’t get back to me. starting to get to the point where i’m losing confidence in driving artics as i’ve only driven one for 8 days overall, and that was 3 months ago

basically what the title says. i was on the M25 clockwise this morning, around 3:20am a police car joined from the M11 southbound, proceeded to jump across lane 1, cutting between a couple of wagons and forced me into lane 3 by coming over so quick. i don’t carry a dashcam but if anyone happens to have footage of the incident id like to have it so i can send it to the force that car is from (presumably essex police)
if it’s any help for anyone trying to remember (if they saw the incident) i was driving a grey vauxhall vectra
