im excited to watch wubby play through MGR:R its full of corny and funny moments and still sad to this day it will never get a sequel. but i hope wubby makes it to the final boss and all its stupid glory lol
(edit) felt like close up was needed. wubby lowkey reaching ghostface level of jawdrop
Like the title says, i wanted to introduce a blast from the past of what to this day i think needs to be reproduced to some capacity, ideally like the example im about to show you or as i often imagined and hoped would maybe become a thing someday.
A Big brother reality tv show approach where it cool and ultimately funny to watch a bunch of die hard gamers being overly competitive in a shared environment for X amount of weeks where everything the housemates want or need has to be earned through playing a game of sorts, primarily videogames.
Let me introduce to you ...
- WCG's ULTIMATE GAMER -
a reality tv style show where 12 people are put through challenges both irl and in-game
bringing a twist of throwing each of them out of their comfort zones be it from their respective gaming genres or more often their physical or social norms
there are some notable people who were featured on this show such as Swoozie, iNcontrol and Kat gunn
The full two seasons of the show

And the official youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@WorldCyberGamesOfficial/videos
has some episodes and behind the scenes of things like interviews and such if you set sort by oldest
just kind of a pain in the ass to navigate though as seemingly its all jumbled
As it has been quite some time since this was a thing and the 360p youtube playlist is one of very few sources of watching it these days its slowly fading into a distant memory of mine but i digress
My point for posting about it is that i would love to see what wubby's thoughts are regarding both this old show and whether something like this would be good content in our current content environment?
And if he agrees that this, even if he has a negative view of the show from 17 ish years ago. is still leagues above the kind of shit MR beast puts out there !
thanks for reading, appreciate you all.
love you wubby, say it back.
