V Collection 11 Intro for €99 – buy now or wait for Black Friday?

I own a KeyLab 49 MK3 and Analog Lab Pro, and Arturia is currently offering me V Collection 11 Intro for €99.
I’m pretty sure I want to get Intro anyway, but with Black Friday only 7 weeks away, I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting.
Has anyone seen Intro drop below €99 during previous Black Friday sales, especially with a personal upgrade offer?
Patience isn’t exactly my strong suit, so I’m tempted to just grab it now. 😅
What would you guys do?

Neotone Mutant – wooden body sometimes missing hits. Normal?

Hi everyone,
my new Mutant sometimes completely misses taps/ghost notes on the wooden surface, especially closer to the center around the ding. The tonefields themselves work fine. Also It almost never happens on the wooden areas closer to the tonefields. I mainly notice it around the ding, closer to the center.
Increasing the Body Sensitivity Curve helped, but I can still reproduce it. Sometimes even clearly noticeable taps are not detected.
Neotone told me that the wooden body is less sensitive than the tonefields and that light/fast taps can sometimes be missed, especially around the ding. They also said they checked my instrument remotely and said they didn’t see any sethat their wooden body detects basically every hit.
Thomann has offered me an exchange or refund, so I’m unsure whether to keep it.
Mutant owners: does yours also occasionally miss taps around the ding/center area, or would you consider this unusual?

Neotone Mutant wooden body sensitivity – are missed ghost notes normal?

Hi everyone,
I’ve just received a Neotone Mutant and I’m trying to determine whether my unit is working normally.
The tone fields respond well, but the wooden body seems inconsistent. Single, slightly stronger taps usually register, while soft ghost notes and quick consecutive finger taps are sometimes missed. The wooden areas beside the tone fields appear more sensitive, whereas the central wooden area near the misses more hits.
For other Neotone owners:
Does every light tap on the wooden body register on your instrument?
Are fast consecutive ghost notes sometimes missed?
Is this normal behaviour or could it indicate a sensor problem?
Which Body Sensitivity Curve setting do you use?
I’d especially appreciate feedback from neotone owners. Thanks!

TENNIX Basic vs. Pace S Pro – is TENNIX too unstable or underpowered?

I m currently deciding between the TENNIX Basic for around €900 and the Pace S Pro for around $1,200.

At the moment, I’m leaning towards the TENNIX because it seems much more portable. I have to carry the machine up and down stairs, so the weight is a major factor for me. It is also cheaper and, from what I have seen, probably quieter. I don’t want to disturb other players on nearby courts or attract too much unnecessary attention.

Another advantage is that TENNIX offers camera support, and apparently the Basic version can later be upgraded with additional features and made closer to the Pro version.

I also keep reading negative comments from people saying that certain features did not work properly, the balls did not consistently clear the net, they had support issues, or they felt like they had wasted their money. Are these isolated cases, or is there actually a significant risk of making a bad purchase?

My another concern is the power and ball speed. Some people say that TENNIX is not powerful enough and that the balls do not feel realistic. Is it really that weak? My level is currently around 2.5–3.0, so I probably don’t need extremely fast balls yet, but I would still like a machine that I can continue using as I improve.

If the Pace S Pro didn’t weigh around 20 kg, I would probably buy it immediately. However, carrying it up and down stairs regularly sounds exhausting. I’m also unsure how loud it is and whether it would disturb other players.

I’m quite dependent on a ball machine because I struggle to find enough players at my level in my city. I love tennis and would ideally like to practise four or five days per week.

Would I regret not buying the Pace S Pro?
