List of materials

I've been wanting to make a wet specimen since long ago and I've already decided that it will be a pig's heart that I'll previously dissect with a friend (each one will get a jar with half heart) and I've made this list. Am I missing anything? Any tips for preserving an organ?

Train museum

I made myself this outfit using the black snail's fan skirt pattern and a pattern made by a local museum for the blouse. I LOVED being able to ride an actual antique tram and a steam locomotive, it was fabulous. Alas, I cannot attach a video of the train to this post but it was amazing

Bilbao 1900

I went to a reenactment event recreating the bourgeois of bilbao in the 1900s. it was my second ever reenactment event and I'm wearing my original 1900s morning coat, 1940s top hat and a GORGEOUS flower pin on my lapel. Alas, I injured my arm so it was a challenge for the pictures but I really enjoyed the day.

My first frock coat

This is my first attempt of tailoring, I don't know how to padstich but the project is little by little coming together. I love it and it isn't as difficult as I'd have thought.

Thoughts

I have bought this pattern impulsively and I'm planning on doing it. My question is: I have already sewn male waistcoats and trousers and women's bodices. Is this kind of project extremely difficult?

1800s dress

Hey reddit! It's been a long time.

I've been into several projects: an 1890s walking ensemble which I'll show in another post and this dress from the start of the 19th century.

I have done several of these dresses so it was an easy one, however I'm not happy with the back closure because it leaves a gap (if anyone has a tip LMK!).

I'm also wearing a fichu and espadrilles? (Idk how to say it in english)

I took the pics in the commemoration of the french invasion of my town which was quite brutal btw

I hope you like it and happy sewing!
