Laid off today. One meeting was enough to erase everything.

Yesterday I was working on deadlines.

Today I was told my role no longer exists.

It's strange how months (or years) of hard work can end in a 10-minute conversation.

The tech market keeps telling us to "keep grinding," "keep learning," "build side projects," "network more." Many of us are doing exactly that—and we're still getting laid off.

I'm not writing this for sympathy.

I'm writing this because I'm looking for my next opportunity.

I'm a Java Backend Developer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, Azure, and REST APIs. I'm available to join immediately.

If your team is hiring or you can refer me, I'd truly appreciate it.

And if you're someone who was laid off recently, you're not alone. I hope we all land somewhere better.

Thanks for reading.

She’s Been Living in My Head for 3 Years

There was this girl I matched with on Hinge. She was kind of cute and all, and we dated for a short time somewhere like 2.5 months. But I started liking her, and I still do. It’s been around 3 years, and I still can’t move on. Every night, I find myself looking at her pictures. And she is somewhere in enjoying with her new partner and friends.I followed get instagram after 3 yrs from a spam account but she blocked me after 30 mins we didn't even talk

It's impossible to get a job now a days

Applying through portals, referrals, cold emails, LinkedIn messages — doing everything possible, yet getting very few interview calls.

The market is tough right now, but I’m still learning, building, and preparing every single day.

Backend developer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and REST APIs, currently looking for new opportunities.

If your company is hiring or you can refer me for a backend/software engineering role, I’d genuinely appreciate it.
