Question about Snapdragon stadium bag policy

I am visiting from out of town and have tickets to see the Wave next Saturday. I am starting to pack for my trip and deciding what type of bag to bring to the stadium to carry my glasses/phone/keys/sunscreen/hat etc. I see on the website that only clear bags are allowed. I have a cinch bag that is clear (a clear bag with strings that cinches closed and can be worn as a backpack). I usually bring that with me to baseball games and other NWSL games with no issues. But I am wondering if those are allowed at Snapdragon? Their website does not explicitly say that cinch bags are allowed and it does say that backpacks are NOT allowed. Anybody have direct experience with bringing this type of bag into the stadium?

I’m coming to the game on July 11!! Any tips for an out-of-town fan?

I will be in San Diego for SDSU orientation and just realized the Wave will be playing Angel City that weekend! Woo-hooo!! I just bought my ticket so excited to attend. I am in Section 109.

Any game day tips? I will be taking the trolley to the stadium as I won’t have a car. How well does that work? Are there any places out side the stadium to grab a bite to eat and a beer before the game or do I have to get concessions inside? What concessions do you recommend? Also I see it is free beach towel giveaway (!!!) - how early do you have to get to the stadium to snag a freebie?
