Any advice on repairing this cracked dashboard?

It has a vinyl covering and beneath is a brown foam material. I know the cracks have to be filed down to a v-shape before applying any filler. I don't want to replace it,I want to keep it as original as possible,and chances are I won't find one in much better condition.Any advice is appreciated! Thanks

If not what are some good options? It's only $135 on rock auto under "Famous Brands". Other options are $200+. Thanks for your time. I'm replacing the entire A/C system on a 1999 Chevy Malibu,the old compressor blew.
