This build is more centred around the canynes high innate wyversoul and stamina recovery stats, being used for pure dps vs a supportive build that’s more commonly seen here.

Buffs:

Blade rush is the buffing move of choice as it buffs dragon damage and wyversoul damage, I prefer it over pump up as the dragon damage buff is percent based and harder to apply by other means, a supporting hunting horn can still provide that regular damage attack buff.

Attacks:

Pickaxe beak is a cheap, spam-able ability that inflict wyvernsoul down and has good wyvernsoul damage in it of itself, the go to move to use when saving energy for larger attacks.

Dragon eater + as it’s the only dragon power move and provides some sustainability in the build. Could honestly be swapped out for a technical dragon move if that’s what you prefer, only downside is loosing the power bingo.

Egg skill: Dragon Feller is the main damage dealing ability, needing no introduction. Can absolutely shred monsters, and has a solid amount of wyvernfell as well.

Passives:

Critical eye XL is the most replaceable skill here, canynes just have a really good innate crit chance so it was easy to throw this on. Crits do fat damage, and it helps with the bingos for this build.

Stamina surge XL. You may be wondering why this is even needed when canynes already have such a good stamina recovery stat, but it’s to offset the next passive skill.

All out XL. The reason why I chose canyne for this and not the other dragon options in the game. This powers up skills by a large margin with the tradeoff of a higher stamina cost, which the canyne has no trouble dealing with.

Dragon attack boost XL. Boost dragon attack, more damage, simple as. Gets a bingo bonus for power if dragon eater is on the same build.

Dragon buster XL. Even more wyverfell, will be knocking monsters down with no problem.

Elder dominance can fit into this build if you replace critical eye XL, only loosing out on the speed bingo boost but gives you a debuffing option if you don’t have a designated monstie. Would discourage dancer, as I believe the dragon bingo boost is actually better than the damage boost provided by it at full hp, speed boost is irrelevant as canynes are fast as hell.

Environmental Egg Skill:

Really up to you, nothing is required here for the build to work.

Resonance+, more kinship at the start of battle so you can get an easier ride.

Hardiness+, some more stamina recovery, mainly have this here as it’s an awakened skill, can be replaced by battle thirst or unscathed.

High moral is just here to extend buff duration, replace with anything if your choosing.

Three stars in stamina recovery and attack, really just buffing its most important stats. Some more bulk with 3 star defence or HP also isn’t a bad option, but the stamina recovery is a non negotiable.
