Would it make sense to pay CA$100 for a good condition iPhone SE (red) with BH of 86%?

I need a second phone to use as a hot spot only (125GB data plan) as I don’t want to wear my new 16e with constant connectivity as it heats up the phone.

Would you go with a different model? XR? 12 mini with 5G?
