How do I tactfully stop my boss from taking credit for my ideas in front of upper management?

I need some professional advice on how to handle a frustrating situation with my manager.

Lately, I’ve noticed that whenever I pitch an idea or complete a major project, my boss presents it to upper management as entirely their own doing. They use phrases like "I came up with this solution" or "I built this system," completely leaving my name out of the conversation.

I want to get recognition for my hard work so I can grow at this company, but I don't want to start an aggressive workplace war or look petty to executives.

How can I tactfully put my stamp on my work before it reaches upper management? Has anyone successfully handled a credit-stealing boss without ruining the relationship?

TL;DR: My boss presents all my ideas and projects to upper management as their own. Need advice on how to subtly get recognition without causing drama.
