They look like tiny fairies rising their arms
Yay! I finally finished this project wich has been the funniest one I've ever done. I wanted to surprise my co workers with a Sylvanian diorama inspired by our Art School with everybody represented with a little animal depending on their personality. My co worker Jaume helped me to do the art reproductions (that are real life objects and paintings) and some of the props. It was my first time doing 3D pieces, so the challenge has been quite difficult even if the diorama itself it's not that big. Also because I only had 2 months to design and finish everything .... but it has worked!
All of them had a lot of fun looking for all the details we specially made to represent real life situations and stories. I suppose this can only be seen by us because it's our daily reality, but I hope you find everything cute and artsy. As always I also have a video in my YT with the process and the surprise moment with them in case you want to see more.
I would love to post more photos of the 3D set and all the detail but to be fair there's too much of them and I don't want to bother you with so much material ;_; The only Sylvanian pieces are the school structure (I covered the walls) and the sink. The rest is 3D sculpted or crafted traditionally.
I hope you like it!
I always wanted an art set for my characters but I couldn’t find tools adapted to their proportions so… I tried to sculpt them in 3D! I’m just a self taught beginner but I think it works! What do you think? My favorite part are the tubes in different shapes because of the usage.
They are not on the photo but There’s also some acrylic tubes in a different shape, a pencil and I’ll made a paint palette (although I want to make one in real wood).
I also did an easel, well, lots of them until I found the correct size and technique. I want to paint everything soon.
Hi! I wanted to show you my boyfriend's customization. He likes to paint war-games miniatures and models and so he is the one who teaches me how to repaint my SF.
After some projects he decided to try his own with the tram and I'm totally in love. There's still some work to do like the wheels, the main furniture piece, the tram stop and some little details, but it's already taking shape. He upholstered the seats with faux leather, added the broken windows, some dirt and leaves (and the weathering) to make everything look abandoned.
We are thinking of customizing two little penguin as a ghost driver and a ghost bellboy.
I was never interested in the vehicles but after this I think I want the new car and the boat so bad! I hope you like it as much as we do.
Hi! I want to show you an update on my Sylvanian Families customization inspired by Ghibli (and very cottage by extension).
It’s an Antique shop and for now I have the building (although I still need to finish the art windows) and the main furniture. The next step will be the garden with a big tree and lots of flowers and later I’ll start working on the little objects (wich will be inspired by iconic elements from the films).
I also post videos of the process in my social media in case you like that kind of things.
This time I kept working with cottage colors present in Arrietty’s home. I wish it could be my home 🤍 I hope you like it !
