I feel like this is 95% done... Just need to add a few more teenie tiny details and a Welcome to Pottsfield banner in the background.

I tried a few variations of Wirt and Greg and really ended up liking the Deer + doggie combo. Let me know if you'd like to see a specific combination and I'll post a photo of them!

Diorama details: OTGW vinyl figures are from Mondo. The barn, deer, and Labrador baby are Critters.

Clothes: I wanted to use authentic Sylvanian Family clothes - but I handmade the costume aspects for Wirt out of felt and some free patterns. I also handmade Greg's satchels and repurposed the perfect teapot for his elephant costume.

Background/foreground: I used mini hay bails, foliage, and pumpkins from hobby lobby. I painted cardboard with paint sticks (if you have never used them - they're marketed for kids but the coolest thing ever!) to make the pumpkin fields. Then I made a lot of felt mountain layers to mimic the rolling hills. I repurposed a crescent moon from a SF Halloween kit and mounted some battery fall leaf twinkle lights to the top.

I'm pretty happy with it but still have a few things I want to add before feeling 100% happy with it. Anyway - it was really fun!

Everything is complete but I haven't shown the utensils for the dinner for two set and the cupcakes for the dinner set. I just need one more to complete the my whole food collection!! If there's more food sets I'd love to see in the comments

Saw someone post one of these on here a few weeks ago and ive been thinking about them ever since! I was a Kmart the other day and decided to take a closer look, so here they are! The accessories are a little too low quality for me personally but they are super cute! Tbh ive thought about going back and getting the pink house because the picnic table is soo cute 😭

For those wondering these are sold by Kmart Australia. Anko is kind of like the Kmart version of Walmarts Great Value.

i wanted to share my calico critter mini atelier! i’ve been having so much fun decorating it and adding all the tiny details. i’m still working on it, but i’m really happy with how it’s coming together so far 🧁

This is a beautiful photo of the Snow-Warrens that I desperately wanted to include in the Character Encyclopedia - but unfortunately we weren’t able to track down the original negative for the photo and it was taken years before we started using digital photography - scans from existing print didn’t produce a high enough digital quality for the book printing process.

But we can still enjoy it here! This photo was used in the 1990 Tomy handbook to promote the upcoming release of this family - you’ll notice that parents Clarence and Lettuce have one lop-ear, a trait that was never carried into the release of this family… are they still out there somewhere waiting for a lucky collector to find them? 🐰

I used alcohol markers to make his patterns onto a white persian cat sylvanian. The real ginger boy is in picture 3, 4 and 5.

Was pleasantly surprised to see these at my local Walgreens. I took home the floral cat family and the bike! Found in TX.

This year is Freya's 16th birthday! Though technically she is eternally 5 or 6 years old.

They were in a free box listed on Facebook—I can tell they are vintage—any idea which set/version they are? Also not sure if the metal bed and high chair are part of it—the bed could also belong to Forest Families because there were some in that box as well! So excited to add to my collection ❤️

I’ve searched, but can’t find examples of someone painting the roof of 1985 style house. I’m thinking just some sort of spray paint as close to the original color as possible-or I was thinking an espresso brown. Has any painted one?

I bought a Deluxe Family Home and it came with this lot who need a bath and some laundry done. I know the ballerina bear is a Russ Berrie, does anyone know the little guy in the white hat? *EDIT-I've discovered he's a Teddy Bear Stories.*
