I’m currently in rehab for my meth habit, and I’ve realized that dysthymia is at the root of my use.

I can’t help feeling like mine/ours is a special case where drug abuse is actually justified. If I’m not able to take pleasure in anything, and drugs are what keep me from killing myself, why shouldn’t I use them?
