OT confused between Australia and New Zealand 🇦🇺🇳🇿
Hi everyone! I'm an occupational therapist from Kerala,India, working primarily in paediatrics, with around one year of full time equivalent experience through part-time work and freelancing.
I'm trying to decide between Australia and New Zealand and would really appreciate advice from OTs who have experience working in either country.
I'd love to know:
Which country has an easier registration process for Indian qualified OTs?
Where are paediatric OT job opportunities better?
How realistic are visa sponsorship and permanent residency?
Which country offers better salaries, savings and quality of life?
Given my experience, which country would you recommend and why?
I'd especially appreciate honest experiences from Indian OTs who have migrated to either country. I want to make an informed decision before investing time and money in the process.
