Break Policy

I've been at this company for nearly 4 years and just got promoted to SL over a month ago and I'm pretty sure if you work over 8 hours you're entitled to a 45 minute break. I've read the policy and it says "shift leaders 18 and over ; 8 hours 30 minutes over 8 and up to 10 - 45 minutes. I got asked last week to clock in early because they were busy and it was about half an hour before my 8 hour shift so I'd get a 45 minute break? At least I thought I did when another shift leader (the one who asked me to clock in early) said no you can't have an extra 15. I know our breaks are fully paid from SL and up but it's not the point I would have liked to of had the extra time to rest and sit outside as it was when England played and it was horrendous.

Shift leader training

Do we get paid back for hotel stays? I know they pay you back for travel costs but the hotel stays hasn't been made clear to me. So many of the training pubs are 4+ hours away from my own pub lol
