BA Farmer's Market Donuts?

I frequent the Bel Air Farmer's Market, but I usually get there around 9:30/10. This morning I was up early and so got there shortly after they opened at 8 and came across a vendor I've never seen at the later time. Guy was in an unmarked tent selling these absolutely gorgeous looking pastries and donuts, with a long line of people buying them. I am a total sucker for that sort of thing so I pick up 6 pastries to take home for the family to try.

The seller had no signage at all, including organization name, product info, or prices. I assumed they'd be $4-5 each. With the Farmer's Market Mark-up, I could begrudgingly see $6 each. When I checked my credit card app I was shocked to see a $52 dollar charge... which means over EIGHT DOLLARS a pastry.

Obviously this is my own fault for not asking about prices, but this is absurd. Genuinely so high I'm wondering if there was a mis-type. I did ask the seller who the organization was but he basically just told me it was a local bakery, so I have no way to contact him to ask about the price. Has anyone else ever dealt with this?

In any case, these better be the best pastries of my life.
