Posted the picture of the 289 FIA yesterday, this is the same event where all the cobra’s are together, lots of different replicas from pilgrims to factory five’s and also some continuation cars. Not common to see all those cobras in one place
the usual question, is it real? this cobra was spotted at the official cobra meeting in switzerland. The owner claims it’s the original cobra that raced in the Targa Florio in 1964 and that was recently restored, with the color being slightly changed. it looks like an original, but I still don’t know.
This is an original CSX 289 FIA Cobra that actually raced in the 1964 Targa Florio with the number 148. The car was restored a few years ago and was spotted at the official Cobra meeting in Switzerland
