Labs has changed a lot since that announcement!
I’ve been working at the company for 4 years and honestly it’s sad to see how much the workplace has changed drastically since that announcement. Nobody seems to be excited about their work anymore. Everyone’s turning in sub par work and leads don’t seem to care either.
I noticed everyone’s dropped their productivity. Everyone’s thinking about something else. Maybe another company, moving abroad or maybe something else altogether. The work they do here is now at the bottom of their hierarchy of priorities.
It’s as if the mindset has changed from let me do some of my best work here and grow to let me take everything i can from this before the ship sink
I’m a tech nerd. The reason I joined here in the first place is because of its engineering excellence. The kind of talent it had. The work ethic and collaboration it had. Now it’s just another tech company. That magic it had is long gone!
If you’ve worked here for a few years, do you see the same change?
