What’s the best process for learning electric guitar?

Hi! I’m 16 and a few months ago pulled out an electric guitar I got for Christmas a couple years back. I’ve been listening to some bands that have a lot of guitar involved and wanna be able to make stuff like that myself. I picked up the timing pretty quickly even if it could use some work (I already make music digitally), my fingers are decently flexible on the frets and I have fun doing it but aside from a few chords from songs I’ve tried to learn I know next to nothing about how the actual thing works, chords, key differences, hand placements, any of that. Could someone explain? What would be a good process for learning and getting better at guitar? Would YouTube tutorials suffice or would a teacher be better investing in? What are some good resources to recommend and any tips for a newer player? I want to be able to play good chords and DEFINITELY do cool solos, any help is appreciated!

glare/outside use on glossy?

yo! I’ve been debating whether to get the nano-texture or normal screen if I can save up enough for a MacBook Pro, and I decided to just go with the normal glossy screen since it’s cheaper, more color-accurate and the only one available at stores near me. I haven’t seen for myself how the glossy MBP is with reflections and sunlight and such, so before I buy, is it hard to see outside? Is there any sort of accessories or tricks I can buy/use to make it less of an issue if it IS bad? I tend to be out a lot, so I’d like to be sure before buying! Thank you!
