Halo, arcs and more - Black Forest, Germany
We were having coffee outside when we noticed the arc above the sun. Then we spotted the faint halo around it. But also an entire halo that I'd never seen before, where the sun is at the bottom of the halo, not in the middle. And where the arc crossed that halo, sundog like spots were visible.
I've never seen this set of optical effects before! If anyone can explain the names, I'd be grateful.

My 7590AX just notified me that an upgrade to 8.25 is available. Update went smooth, everything seems to work. The version information from AVM isn't that helpful, it looks like the same info for the 8.20 update. I haven't been able to find what is specific to the 8.25 release; I suspect bug fixes and/or stability improvements.
The 3000AX also got an update yesterday, to a new beta version: 8.24-131832 BETA.
