Hello... might be an odd question for this sub, but I'm poking around trying to get some feelers out there.

Is anyone currently employed by Bugcrowd who can answer some questions for me? I'm concerned there is an active employment scam (as there are so many!) using this company as a shell. I applied for a good looking role that fits my background, and the next day I was contacted by the recruiter.... via WhatsApp.

OOF. The domain looks like it might be legit, but is questionable enough that... here I am. Can anyone shed some light for me, please? I was super interested in the company and of course the job itself, but... le sigh.

For the last two months, the household above me (the adult son of an older couple in their 50's/60's) has been discarding his cigarettes into a forested area behind the apartment property, with lots of leaves/loose debris that will absolutely catch fire later this summer if this behavior continues.

I know it's him because I've seen the young man smoking on property (not allowed). In the off-chance it's not him, the way the units are structured, there's literally only one other unit it can possibly be (building is only three stories tall). Management has refused to do or say anything without indisputable proof of the source. I installed a blink camera, but even with the motion sensor set to high, it does not catch leaves or falling debris, so I've been unable to actually catch it happening aside from ruling out it's not someone walking around back there doing it.

This same unit has dropped a still-lit cigarette into one of my planters when I first complained about the cigarettes and management reached out, as well as a chicken bone (attempted dog murder) when I reported their bird feeder. Which, admittedly, was petty, but it was against the lease and these monsters need to behave.

I just emailed the fire marshal, but I am feeling incredibly defeated about this and somehow doubt they're going to do anything without a signed confessional as well 😛

For those who have dealt with unresponsive property management on legitimate safety issues, what actually worked for you? Did the fire marshal follow through? Any other avenues I'm missing?
